I have been interested in democratic socialism for a few years. Democrats Take Progressives for Granted
The verdict for this episode is: I will not unite behind a centrist candidate. In this episode, I discuss how the Democratic Party has never cared about progressives and progressive values, but the Democratic Party blames progressives when the Democratic Party’s centrist candidates lose. https://media.blubrry.com/jonathansimeonepodcast/content.blubrry.com/jonathansimeonepodcast/Never_Unite.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | Download (Duration: 7:36 — 3.5MB)… Continue reading Democrats Take Progressives for Granted

Centrist Democrats are Repeating Obama’s Mistake
The verdict for this episode is: the public option for health care will not allow people to keep their private health insurance. In this episode, I discuss why claims that people would be able to keep their private health insurance if a public option was added allowing them to buy into Medicare are false. https://media.blubrry.com/jonathansimeonepodcast/content.blubrry.com/jonathansimeonepodcast/Newcentrist_lie_Recording.mp3Podcast:… Continue reading Centrist Democrats are Repeating Obama’s Mistake

Reviewing True Flag
Stephen Kinzer’s True Flag: Theodore Roosevelt, Mark Twain, and the birth of American Empire is an important examination of another portion of American history too few Americans understand. Specifically, the book looks at the discussion of American imperialism that took place during and after the War of 1898. The book uses the experiences and words… Continue reading Reviewing True Flag

I’m too often a zoo animal, and I don’t believe in zoos.
