Even before Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed, many Democrats were talking about impeaching him. While I would have never voted to confirm Kavanaugh and while I do believe he could be impeached, talking about impeaching him is stupid. The reason is simple: Democrats are unlikely to have the votes and Republicans will use talk of impeachment… Continue reading Talking About Impeaching Kavanaugh is Stupid

America’s Political System is Failing
Now that Brett Kavanaugh has been given a lifetime seat on the Supreme Court, I want to address the route of the problem destroying America. The route of the problem isn’t political polarization (as many say). The route of the problem is the failing of our system of government. The reality is that an ever-shrinking… Continue reading America’s Political System is Failing
Debunking Arguments in Support of Kavanaugh
Now that Kavanaugh has been confirmed, this post doesn’t have much value. Still, I think it’s worth publishing the truth. Below are a few of the arguments advanced by Kavanaugh supporters and my rebuttals.
Reviewing Henry George’s Progress and Poverty

An Idea for Brett Kavanaugh
Obviously, what I’m about to propose would never happen. Still, it would be great for America if it did. Brett Kavanaugh should announce he supports an FBI investigation into Dr. Ford’s allegation. He should also tell the Senate’s Judiciary Committee to subpoena all relevant witnesses.
Reviewing Tess Gerritsen’s Vanished
Tess Garritsen’s Vanished is part of the Rizzoli & Isles series. While I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the Rizzoli & Isles books I have read so far, Vanished is my favorite.
Reviewing The Mark of the Assassin
Daniel Silva’s The Mark of the assassinwas a solid read, but I expected more. Michael and Elizabeth Osbourne were good characters but the parts of the book dealing with their relationship didn’t seem authentic. Also, the politics involved in the story were too cynical–even for me.
